At our beautiful venue in Hampshire, we showcase young talents who collaborate with globally acclaimed directors, designers and conductors. We give singers a platform to hone their craft, master new repertoire and refine their performance skills. The result is nothing short of operatic excellence, aligning with the five-star standard for which West Green has gained renown.
Our endeavours are solely sustained by the generosity of our dedicated Patrons. Vintners’ Hall
A tour of this magnificent Livery Hall and lunch for four.
The Vintners’ Company, with its first Charter in 1363, is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London.
Wool and wine were the two prominent trades of the Middle Ages. By the early 13th century the ‘Mistery of Vintners’ – associated with the church of St Martin in the Vintry and, to a lesser extent, St James Garlickhythe – was an organised and powerful body, dominating the wine trade in London and the rest of the country.
With its trade, social, charitable and educational interests, the Company continues to play an important role in the 21st century.
A two-night stay for two people in a Junior Suite at Borgo Gradis’ciutta, a delightful 15th century property that belongs to renowned winery Gradis’ciutta, nestled in the heart of the Collio wine growing area of Friuli Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy. A Dinner for up to ten with music at historical Stone House
Dating from 1766, Stone House is a Grade 2* listed building that was built by George Gibson as a private residence. Its architecture bears the unmistakable mark of Palladian influences, drawn from a visit to Italy.
Crafted from Kentish ragstone, Stone House was originally whimsically named the Comical House. The name is believed to have been changed to Stone House when it became the residence of Lord Mayor Wire of London in 1853.
Dinner will be served in the dining room, which features a captivating mural of The City and Greenwich by Peter Kent, a masterpiece that was commissioned in 1995 by the present owners. On the first floor is the Music Room, the stage for the evening’s delightful musical entertainment, adorned with a beautifully painted ceiling supported by Doric pillars.
A one-night stay for two guests including breakfast at Hotel Windsor, a boutique hotel with a delightful seafront location on the Italian Riviera, only one hour’s drive from Monaco and the Côte d’Azur. Part of Design Hotels, the property is in the heart of Laigueglia, an old fishing village on the western coast of Liguria that has retained much of its authentic charm. A magnum of award-winning Amarone wine kindly donated by celebrated producer Allegrini Estates, whose vineyards occupy 150 hectares in the hilly Valpolicella wine producing area of Veneto. A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta grapes, this exceptional wine is full-bodied and well-balanced, with notes of ripe dark fruits and candied cherry aromas. It has won coveted awards including Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso, a benchmarch of excellence in wine making.
A Pantry Makeover
Angela Senese is a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner, and founder of Nutrimente. During a one-to-one 1.5hr session, Angela will show you how to stock up your pantry with great tasting, healthy options and give you tips to make quick, easy and delicious meals that align to your needs. You will cover the likes of plate composition, balanced snacks, and how to increase nutrient absorption.
This session will be held online and includes a complementary Weekly Meal Plan to make the experience more tangible and changes more achievable.
