Every year West Green introduces a rarely performed opera in one act, a curiosity that deserves to be heard and enjoyed.

We are again indulging our love of Rossini, in L’Inganno Felice (The Fortunate Deception), a romantic melodrama with buffo elements.

Duke Betrando’s wife Isabella is lost at sea, her boat coming ashore near a mining camp.

A decade later the Duke and his entourage arrive and the predictable happens.
