Why Your Support Makes All The Difference
West Green House Opera is a small charity that exists to support emerging artists in a nurturing and creative environment. Our week-long Opera Season offers new productions staged by opera professionals in our stunning, Theatre on the Lake and Pavilion on the Theatre Lawn, set in the lovely gardens at West Green. But Box Office income covers barely one-third of the income we need. Therefore the generosity of our supporters is fundamental to our ability to perform, develop and plan for the future. You can help our work in many ways, from a single donation to regular support through our Membership Schemes.
On behalf of everyone involved with the opera, thank you for your support.
“West Green House Opera is a warm and welcoming environment providing the best opportunity for the professional development of young singers. A place where new roles, skills and techniques can be honed to thrilling effect in a beautiful setting. To support this work is to help provide the very foundation upon which the success of opera, everywhere, is built.”
Rebecca Nash (Ariadne – Ariadne auf Naxos 2015, Amelia – Un ballo in maschera 2017)
‘The artistic standards at West Green demonstrate that it has come of age and bears positive comparison with its rivals in England that adorn the summer season’
